Running on empty here in Maine.

Perhaps clam "chowdah", if it stays cool and grey....that might be cozy and warm.....they carry the fresh chopped clams at the market...they also have the quohogs (big sea clams) that are delicious stuffed. Maybe I will make "stuffies and chowdah"!

1 cup of brown sugar
1cube butter
1 T. white vinegar
1 t. mustard (dry or prepared)
Oregano to taste (the Oregano makes this great)
2-3 drops of tabasco
BBQ spice to taste (it's called BBQ spice in the spice section)
Worchester sauce to taste
Garlic salt to taste

You can add honey also for variety.

Melt the butter and add the B. sugar then mix all the other ingredients and simmer, stirring often for about 20 minutes.

You can add more or less of the spices to fit your taste. It's so simple and yet so darn good!! Everyone who has had this loves it!! Enjoy.
Thnks for the recipe sounds good and simple.

Hubby wants tacos-I'm not a fan. Have to see what the day brings.

Amber I have sausage/peppers and the crusty bread and I love mustard on them.
