What a great day! My 5 year old grandaughter got not one but TWO goals!! They were so cute...all these little ones out there kicking that ball! It was amazing and fun! The newest one, grandaughter, was as good as gold the whole time! Then we went to lunch and enjoyed some great conversation! A very nice day. The kids have already done wonders to their new home--and only with some paint! It is defininately looking great! Not sure about dinner yet---and it almost 6:00pm--uh-oh! Probably pasta of some kind--quick and simple! Ya'll have a great visit up north, ya hear??
At the moment the DW is working the chicken breast cuts through the various coatings getting it ready for the fry daddy. Brussels sprouts about ready for the browning in the skillet process. Sweet potatoes emitting as glorious smell that is starving me out. I think this is an off night for any dessert for the time being. Would love a dish of chocolate pudding but failed to pick a package up yesterday when out. We will survive at least one more day without chocolate. Pecans will soon be in and those in a pie are on my mind a lot these days to. I really need to fast in prep for a family reuinion coming up early Nov as the tables full of southern cooking will be beyond temptation. Have a great evening all.
