Tonight will be grilled muenster burgers, sliced onions, pickles and sweet potato fries, with plain blueberries and strawberries for dessert. I couldn't pass by the 93% lean ground beef on sale for $1.99/# and the berries have been so good this season, I don't want to disguise them by putting them into something. (How is that for a lame excuse for not making dessert?! )

Amber - Last night's dinner sounds yummy!
CrazyWorld - I copied your recipe too. Thanks!
DayTripper - Nice to "meet" you. Sorry for what you're going through. I hope the mess will soon be behind you.
Nomadicus - Wish I was going to your house for dinner.

Lacey, try the Dreamfields pasta. Way better than some of those pasty whole grain ones. It's what I use all the time. THe problem is, there's not a lot of choice as to styles. They make elbows, penne, spaghetti, and I'm not sure if they make anything else. Maybe one more, I forget.

The little piggy that went to market is soaking in a spa of Sweet Baby Ray's just a wait'n on the Mrs. to arrive... Now where are the berries?? Isn't there some sort of cyber technology that we can use to barter some of these things out on the fly???

Well the prime rib is done and so is the 10# strip. We'll have a little bit of each to taste test as most of the meat is a gift to some people.

We are also doing another taste test w/wife boil'n corn on cob and I'm gonna grill/smoke some.(did it last yr and grilled is better IMHO....and the kids'). I should have made a bet w/wife that if I won she had to sleep naked tonight. and if I lost she had to sleep naked(or me on the couch).

So once again, steak and corn on the cob........I could eat that yr round.
