This thread keeps calling out to me. Some more goodies I thought of:
German chocolate cake
French silk pie
Belgian waffles topped with fruit and whipped cream
Hot glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts
Churros (Mexican doughnuts) and hot chocolate to dunk them in
Biscuits topped with cream gravy
Prime rib
Honey-baked ham with crispy edges
Chocolate chip pancakes from IHOP
All the Little Debbie cakes and other crap they sell(no clue how the bleep I'm always so darn good in ignoring purchasing them when I'm in stores, despite how darned cheap they are even when you're NOT inside Wal-Mart!), and donuts(good thing none of the overpriced gourmet donut places in Chicago are anywhere near me, though my neighborhood does have a great neighborhood bakery that sells decent donuts on certain weekdays for cheaper than those gourmet places). 'Nuff said, between those 2 things!
We don't have bacon often. Maybe three times a year? Definitely on Christmas morning with cinnamon rolls (with cream cheese frosting), and beyond that sometimes we'll buy it to make BLTs or if there is a crazy good deal on it but we try and treat it as a rarity but man.... BACON!
My 15 year old son went vegetarian for a few years and he was really devoted but even he couldn't resist the bacon when we did have it at home and he'd always give in to at least half a slice.
I guess I'd add pie to my cookie list. But, of course only homemade, like banana cream, coconut cream & maybe cheese cake (softer consistency one). When I was a kid my mother made a mean grasshopper pie (w/ crème de menthe and crème de cocoa & oreo cookies for the crust). A wow pie. I'll pass on the fruit pies except for blueberry. Why not a scoop of vanilla with that?
Cakes I'll put on my list if they're moist ones. Nothing like a piece of dry cake, no siree, maybe a piece of sour cream coffee cake and boston cream "pie."

In the interest of saving myself a calorie or two, I'll make the donut burger with ONE Krispy Kreme split in two. <smirk>
I think I read somewhere that one of the big two doughnut bakers makes a Wedding Cake out of their product!!
As for Boston Cream Pie, I am livid over the fact, well, maybe not livid but certainly plenty annoyed at all of the bakeries, including the super markets, selling what they are calling Boston Cream CAKE. CAKE, for crap's sake!! It's been Boston Cream Pie my whole life and now these upstarts think they know better? A pox upon their houses! It's "pie", I say, P-I-E!
Crispy bacon....has anyone tried it on ice cream? Before you call me crazy, try it! But make sure it's really crispy....
