I get paid once a month, so I make a large trip once a month to replenish staples and meal ideas I already have planned out. Then as the month goes along, I will make random trips to the store for anything else I need.
I admit up front that I detest grocery shopping, and avoid it whenever possible. Wondering how often others shop for food.
I'm with ya sistah! Not only that but my other half is a grocery/food/cooking nazi so my ideas are SO not considered, it's frustrating. Pffft, let him do it. And let him complain about it. I dare him!

I've often thought that if I won a huge lotto, I would pay someone to grocery shop for me, and maybe do some prep work. I actually like cooking, but if all the ingredients magically appeared in my kitchen, I would love it even more.
Maybe someday we will have a device like on The Jetsons, where we can place our order on AmazonFresh, and the groceries will then appear in our cupboards.....
I could not answer the poll as there are not enough choices. I generally go to the store 2-4 times a day as I am always out walking and generally stop in to pick up something.
I also do not like to grocery shop, so I keep quite a full pantry. We go to Costco for meats about once every two or three months, use the Food Saver, and freeze. Weekly trip to BJ's for milk. Fresh fish is purchased at the fish market. I go to the farmer's market for veggies and fruit. I only go to the grocery for incidentals to restock things for the pantry, fresh bread, and specials that I can incorporate into dinners.
I used to go several times a week. I would stop off on the way back from kid's activities. I am trying really REALLY hard to just go once a week. My wallet is growing noticeably fatter from doing that. And I am struggling a bit with when I do go, I don't go hog wild. I am making my list and trying to stick with it.
Funny how groceries is the hardest and worst for me in terms of budgeting.
I am surrounded by tons of stores so I go quite frequently. My brother lives in a rural area far from stores so he and his wife go once or twice a month.
Normally 2 times a week. One weekend trip to Walmart, and one trip, generally on Wednesdays, to get Asian veggies from the Asian store (They receive their stock on Tuesdays).
And sometimes, a walk to the neighboring Kwik Trip for milk and bread.
