Men, women, we knew their kids, it was like, all they did was come to the store! Very strange.

I will start doing that once I live within one mile of a HyVee store. They have a variety of products, ready made, that are very affordable and good. If one was in town, you would never see me in a fast food joint.

I LOVE my Hy- Vee! I go once a week. I don't buy their ready made foods though, I like to cook. But they have a fantastic gluten free section, a wide variety of sugar free candy (my not-so-secret vice) and my favorite WINES!! (My not at all secret vice!!)

When you are on the road, driving from Kearney, NE to Chicago, being able to stop at a HyVee when you need to is a godsend. First, they have a lot of great prepared foods (steam table, Chinese fast food, pizza, pasta, salad bar, etc depending on the store) that is well priced below restaurants. And it beats the heck out of those awful Maid-Rite sandwiches.

In addition, there is a clean, large cafe area in each store equipped with free, high quality WiFi.

They generally have either a Caribou coffee or a Starbucks.

The restrooms are spotless.

The stores are laid out well where you can find everything.

There are now THREE Hy-Vees in Madison Wisconsin! I haven't been to the two new ones, but I understand they are even bigger and better than the original on the east side, which does have a Caribou Coffee, steam table, olive bar, pizza, salad bar, etc. It doesn't have sit down space though, which I guess the other two do.
