Saturday usually my kitchen is closed for the cook needs rest. I bought pickled herring in white wine sauce, pearl onions,Camembert and Gouda cheese ,green grapes, olives and a French baguette for tonight. With it a glass of wine from the Pelee Islands. I am baking a banana bread with nuts and flax seeds and I am playing with the idea to bake my own crackers with East Indian spices or just with salt/black pepper/caraway flavor.

It is our tenth anniversary today so Hubby is taking me out to a Asian fusion cafe that serves Vietnamese, Thai (not the American dishes) and Korean cuisine. This place has a three month waiting list and is a foodie gem. So I am super happy that hubby was thoughtful enough to book this for our tenth.

I am moving on Friday, so this week is going to be nuts. It's going to be catch as catch can. Tonight, Papa Murphy's lite med chicken, spinach, artichoke, bacon pizza and ice tea to drink.
