Rump Roast (I have never cooked one before). I think I found a good recipe and I bought a meat thermometer that stays in the oven....to make sure I don't over cook it. We like it on the rare side of med. rare.
I also have asparagus....it must be in season....like nmnita we have been having it a lot! Halved red potatoes cook with the meat. If all goes well....we will be happy campers.

a rump roast can be one of three different roasts- it can be from the knuckle- use to be called the face-rump roast,(now called the sirloin tip or round tip) or can be from the top butt sirloin, right from where the rump steak came from, but today the most popular is a bottom round, back rump roast (has a point, looks like a triagle)
either one, they should have good flavor!!
