It took Google to help me determine that shirataki noodles are the same as konyaku noodles. I spend time in Japan almost every year and am familiar with konyaku as a noodle and in a block form for slicing and dicing. I hadn't heard it called shirataki before. My DP is really fond of konyaku....so I will look for it as shirataki in our supermarket here in the department with tofu etc.
Beautiful day today but kinda chilly. Still, we are grilling out tonight. T-bones, corn on the cob, baked potatoes and Caesar salads. Sweet iced tea to drink
A non-fat pineapple Greek yogurt, 3 toasted slices of light whole wheat bread with strawberry spread and healthy margarine and a mug of Tiens Chinese herbal tea with a teaspoon of sugar.
Tonight we had felafel with tangy yogurt sauce on whole grain pita with tomato, baby spinach, chopped dill pickled and green onions. Tabbouleh salad with tomatoes and flat leaf parsley.
DH and I indulged in a cold Corona with a wedge of line.
Lemon sorbet for desert.
