Having a mini Thanksgiving tonight, but trying to keep it lower cal. Of course, we're keeping the stuffing, but skipping the mashed potatoes. Sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and peas. No dessert.
So I guess it's isn't really a mini Thanksgiving, its a turkey dinner, LOL.
A relative is making spinach parathas tonight,with it we will have my homemade plain yogurt,black salt,lime pickle, a plate of raw vegetable,carrot sticks,tomato,onion,cucumber slices,lemon water/plain water. For dessert chocolate covered strawberries or banana quark.
A strawberry non-fat Greek yogurt, 3 toasted slices of multigrain dark bread with healthy-style margarine and strawberry spread and a large mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar and a bit of fat-free milk.
Pork chops with caramelized onions, and green beans cooked with a touch of bacon grease.
