Fresh venus clams with garlic, a little polish sausage, white wine, butter and slice of toasted bread. I'm not a great cook, but wow that was good. Plus, live clams were on sale for 1.99, that may have made them taste even better.

I was in Austin, TX for a few days and ate a lot of really good BBQ and Tex Mex food. Now that I'm back home we're going to have:

Grilled teriyaki burgers
Mac salad
Simple salad with romaine lettuce, tomatoes and red onions

Sounds like something I used to have at this great Portugese restaurant in Newark, NJ called Campino's, with paella. YUMMY

We purchased a gazillion pounds of pork steak earlier this afternoon while at the grocery and our neighbor grilled all of the pork steaks and provided a salad, broccolli, applesauce, fruit salad and iced tea and we joined them at their home for supper.
It was a nice impromptu supper and gave us a chance to visit for a while and have a great meal.

I just took a container of Mexican soup out of the freezer. I think I will do wraps with avocado and bacon as well.

Spaghetti Bolognese and extra meatballs. Leftover pear crumble.
I make crumble in ramekins as I do not like the sight of two helpings hiding in a pie dish.
