whole roasted chicken in the oven, tossed salad with the works, cauliflower bake. It's hot here too but that's why they invented A/C if I did not have that then I would not turn on my oven.

Barbecued chicken drumsticks, corn on the cob, green beans, sweet potato and "pasta" salad. The pasta salad is made with zuccini instead of pasta. I'm excited to try it.

'Nother simple dinner here - ribs, cooked in crockpot & finished in oven, and ... maybe I'll cook up those zucchini we picked from the garden. And watermelon for dessert.

Went to the farmers market this morning, so I'm up to my elbows in produce. Simmered a big pot of black beans this morning, so an easy dinner of Make-Your-Own-Burritos will keep the rest of my family out of my hair while I wash & chop. I will take the time to make some home-made guacamole in the midst of all of this kitchen prep, but otherwise they're on their own.

Everything except dessert is on the grill tonight: hot dogs, potatoes with garlic and olive oil, and corn on the cob. Dessert is cheesecake-stuffed strawberries. Arnold Palmers to drink.
