I think this evening we are going to a friend's restaurant and pick up something.
Tomorrow however is a very different story.
We have a friend who has a son who is 15 who has spent the last few days in the hospital going through Chemotherapy.
This son who is 15 whom I have not met has requested a home cooked meal. So our friend who does not cook well or much has asked if I would be willing to cook supper for his son and I gladly agreed so we will be having grilled chicken breast, grilled hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, peas, salad, fresh vegetables and a choice of Strawberry Banana Jello with Pineapple chunks in it, Pudding with cool whip on top or Frozen Yogurt.
That is so wonderful! I hope this young man is doing well.
Our dinner tonight is burgers on the grill, saffron rice, steamed broccoli, and King Hawaiian dinner rolls. Drinking Summer Red. Dessert is lemon pound cake with vanilla ice cream.

Thank you but we just do what we do and I don't wish Hospital Food on anyone.
The other part is if I can give this boy a wee bit of pleasure through food I am happy to do so.
Klondike bar for dinner, followed later by sausage & squash gratin for dessert. (I was too hungry to wait for it to cook!)
