Did you ever crave something and never get it? Well, I've been feeling that way about my Dad's kielbasa and sauerkraut. He always made the best and served them with homemade baked beans and mashed potatoes. If it wasn't so stinking hot here, I'd make it. Instead, I'll have a big green salad with tomato, cucumber, red onion, and hard boiled egg crumbled on top. Fresh melon and berries for dessert.

it is beginning to heat up here, still a pretty good summer so far but it is time to minimize using the stove and I have a busy day, so we will just enjoy a little bit of left over Mexican from last night and a big taco salad. It gives me a chance to use up some of my cukes and tomatoes from the garden.
