I'm making (for the first time) brown rice, and I'm going to mix it with avocado, lemon juice and parsley and a little bit of cumin. Found a recipe called Avocado Lime Recipe and adjusting based on what I've got.
Salad and veggie pizza for me (I found a new brand of fake cheese that I want to try out)
Which one? Daiya does not do it for me. I guess it's OK melted.
I'm making black bean burgers topped with guacamole and salsa on whole grain rolls. Sweet potato fries and coleslaw. My home made angel hair coleslaw made with Vegenaise, Bragg's apple cider vinegar and thinly sliced red onions and shredded cabbage.
A strawberry nonfat Greek yogurt, 2 slices of French toast (made with whole wheat bread) with sugar & strawberry preserves and a mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar & a bit of skim milk.
I tried Daiya once. Never again. The flavor is so overpowering, and it leaves thick film in my mouth. Today I tried Follow Your Heart. It was pretty good and melted well, plus it's one of the few other brands that doesn't have casein in it. For my next adventure, I want to try using thinly sliced silken tofu (the tetra pack kind), and see what that does.

Sirloin steak with a baked potato and crisp salad with lots of cherry tomatoes.
