We are having fried pork chops but the rest are just leftovers from last night's supper:
red beans and rice (added Andouille sausage)
collards (I will add bacon, chopped celery and mushrooms), the jalapeno corn bread and the
last of the cinnamon-sugar banana donut holes for dessert.
I am in a cooking rut and I am tired of the same old recipes I make (love them but tired of them) I am getting sick of eating rice and vegetables too. What's wrong with me? LOL. Trying to watch what I eat too but I feel stuck. I guess I'll make roasted sweet potatoes and onions, chicken parmesan minus the sauce (don't have any). I'll fry the breaded cutlets then put some cheese on them and bake in the oven to let the cheese melt.
A blueberry nonfat Greek yogurt, 3 toasted slices of 15 grains bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry spread and a mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar & a bit of non-fat milk.
a shout-out to the Chinese new year tonight -- braised cabbage with ginger, and pork & leek potstickers
