Funny... last night we went to an amazing pizza place ON Dante. It's a street here in Montreal, in Little Italy.

Pizzeria Napoletana

was thinking the grill would love to serve us well by giving us a tempting steak, but the weather says, don't even think about it, so I am doing Salmon, asparagus, steaming a artichoke that has to be eaten or tossed and maybe slicing some tomatoes.

My mouth is watering...... Any how we are having macaroni and beef. I have a marinara sauce simmering on the stove. I am sautéing ground beef with onions and garlic later on. I will add cooked elbows and sauce. I don't like adding ground beef to the sauce while it cooks except for meat balls.

Finally figured out what to make tonight. It will be grilled swordfish with an avocado, spinach, strawberry and goat cheese salad. The husband is going to roast up some asparagus too because we all have been craving it.

Last night we made tonkatsu and fried rice accompanied by artichokes fresh from the farmers' market. The artichokes were the disappointing part! Tough and the 'chokes were tiny. But the rest was great.
