Tonight was chick-fila. I had a bilateral nephrectomy 12 days ago that I'm recovering from and making homemade Chicken Parmesan for Fathers Day yesterday about did me in! But everyone's dinners have my mouth watering for real food. Keep'em comin'

Kraut dogs are simply hot dogs cooked on a bed of sauerkraut. Simple and tasty!

Tonight's dinner will be a rather large salad. I will roast up some beets early and chill them. I need, because it is booming, to pick some green leafy lettuce out of the garden. I think I have some celery ready to go too. I need to run out and get a few vegetables to round it off. I already have some feta and an orange dressing I think will work well.

Short curly pasta with ham, red bell peppers, lots of garlic and olive oil, green salad. I got a box of child size vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate on a stick the other day. Perfect summer desert.
