Wife is preparing Japanese curry with chicken breast meat, brown onions, and potatoes. We will serve it with some brown rice and have some fruit for desert. Simple meal for Sunday evening which will yield some leftovers for tomorrow.
well, it looks like we are having the ham we were supposed to have last night. It seems our electric smoker decided to take a day off or just give up on this world period. Hubby went out to add the glaze, after it had been cooking of several hours and it was barely warm. He still added the glaze, went back out an hour later and no change. We brought it in, I cut into it and guess what? It was not a nice warm yummy ham. I finished it in the oven, we ended up having left over pork roast, so tonight is ham night. I guess I will have to look for a new smoker.
It's ok, that smoker isn't with us any longer, it was a good friend, served us well and wasn't very expensive.
Tonight spaghetti with ground meat, red and green Bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic, tomatoes, oregano, basil, thyme, black pepper ( for us 2 old ones minus the ground meat) with garlic bread and a baby spinach salad. To drink lassi or lemon water. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit
Busy night, so it will be spicy three-bean chili and cornbread. I'll make it early and then leave it for the minions to serve themselves whenever they have time to eat.
