I am making in the slow cooker green lentil soup ( moong daal),lime pickles,a plate with tomato,onion,celery,cucumber and purple turnip slices,homemade plain yogurt and lassi to drink. For dessert fruit salad with pear,apple,banana,kiwi,red and green grapes,roasted almonds,a bit of vanilla sugar and lemon juice.Who wants can add a shot of Cointreau to their dessert.

I'm popping a pot roast in the crock pot and putting in carrots, chopped onion and brown gravy. I'll serve it with mashed potatoes. Deep dish apple pie for dessert. One of my favorite meals.

Tonight we will have grilled Italian sausage with carrots, bell peppers, onions and potatoes. I think I will do cold slaw with it. Maybe we will finish it with a small ice cream bar, but I will have to wait and see if we are still hungry.

I'm trying a new recipe for Almond Chicken (Wor Su Gai) tonight. I've been trying to recreate this dish for over 30 years. Keeping my fingers crossed. Also doing shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg foo yung.
