A whole red snapper and a summer vegetable saute. My son took care of the fish, and I did the vegetables. Best dinner I've had in a while. We opened my birthday present bottle of white wine. Cantaloupe and nectarine for dessert.
I had Red Beans and Rice about 45 minutes ago along with 2 slices of white bread and butter and a sierra mist that I have not finished yet. *I am not a pop drinker normally so it takes me a long time to finish one 20 ounce bottle*
Bad sinus headache. I opted for some bean with bacon soup, tea and peaches. Can't wait for the first freeze. It can't come soon enough!
sorry your allergies are still bothering you. Mine are fine right now and the first freeze is probably close to 2 months away unless we have an early winter.
We are having a church couples group over for our fall kick off at noon today. We are doing burgers and dogs, plus providing the wine, soft drinks and beer. Everyone is bringing something. Dinner will be at our daughters and we will watch the UofA football game. Hope they don't get creamed. I think she is doing a taco bar: I am not bringing anything. So, although I am having everyone here, at noon, it still isn't going to be a lot of work, anything fancy or hard to clean up.
