Chinese tonight from our favourite local place. The food is fresh and good. I'm going for some pepper and steak, hot and sour soup with a side of chicken teriyaki.

I'm about to make a stir fry with udon noodles, bok choy, and tofu. I'm trying to use up a brick of tofu before it goes bad. For a snack even later on tonight, I'm going to make refried beans that will be very heavy on beer. I also picked up some sumac, so I'll spice it up with that and some paprika. I'll probably paste it on some toasted baguette and eat it with avocado and a little tomato salad... and finish it that remaining beer.

You can weight down the extra tofu and squeeze some moisture out of it, then freeze, so you won't have to worry about it going bad. When it thaws, the texture will be like ground beef crumbles.

Miserable commute home -- 1.5 hours to go 12 miles; stopped in a drive-thru and picked up burgers and fries.
