I can't rep you yet but that meal sounds wonderful, I can't remember the last time I had lamb.

Thanks to nokudzu, and the video about the N Koreans eating American Barbecue, I have been able to think of nothing else.
I picked up Dickeys BBQ ribs, brisket, and 3 kinds of sauce. I just made potato salad. Can't wait for dinner!
It feels like summer here today, so the menu seems fitting.

Leftover coq au vin. I made it on Sunday and it was fantastic. It will taste even better tonight. I'm thinking of making some mashed potatoes with it and green beans with sautéed garlic and oil.

We both (my husband and I, not you and I ) have the sniffles - that sounds SO good!

The chicken isn't thawed sufficiently so that'll be tomorrow, unfortunately. Tonight is Chicago Style Hot Dogs and Lays regular potato chips. He said he really would prefer that it would be "Prince Spaghetti Day", but I pointed out that my sauce is frozen to brick like status in the freezer and we have no pasta. Oh well. He does really like the alternative. A lot. He usually scarfs down 3! So I just told him to "quit yer bitchin'."

I like to serve Coq au Vin over fork-crushed boiled red potatoes. Yum.
