At my house, all types of onions....they bring a depth of flavor that is unsurpassed, IMO.

And you?

Onions, seem to go in everything. I love them. We also use a lot of garlic.

Onions and garlic are in everything. I think fresh spinach would be a close 2nd (or arugula, and other greens). I put it under meat, in soups/stews, salads, marinara sauce... almost everything.

I use a lot of fresh spinach too...like it better than the kale for some reason...made a fresh spinach dip over the holidays...and will put in pasta with marinara sauce tonight.

Onions for sure. I also use a lot of garlic. Third would maybe be carrots? We eat a lot of carrots raw with hummus, and I put them in many soups, salads and stir-fries.

Onion is used is almost everything here even though I abhor the taste of them if they are raw. But for actual eating veggies we do a lot of greens- spinach, kale (even before it was popular) and collards. Swiss chard is probably my favorite though and we grow it in the garden.

onion/garlic. Not sure which. Maybe garlic because it's so easy to shake a little garlic powder.
