To be in line with today's posts - SO tore the tendon of his left bizeps Sunday; four weeks before State championshpis thus qualification for Nationals. Needless to say - not a good patient. Another MRI very late today - so it will be pork/beef sliders and freezer fries (yes!). Thank you air fryer! The never ending bowl of salad. He has no excuse not to eat rabbit food.
What the heck with the dentist stuff? I broke a molar. In half. I'm having a root canal -- my first (and last! I hope) -- on Tuesday morning. (I'm terrified.) Yesterday on Facebook, a friend had a post about her husband's bridge and people were talking about dental "procedures" that they just had. (I'm terrified.) Today, here, look! Alm and Mikala's husband. (I'm terrified.) Alm, what did you have done? (I'm terrified.) I hope that you're feeling well (and hahahaha! about having what Margot's having). Mikala, I hope that your hubby's root canal goes easy. (I'm terrified. Not sure if I mentioned it already.)
I'm making chicken tenders tonight. And fries. And tzatziki. I need some pre-root-canal tender loving care.
OT!
He will pre-numb with a qtip dipped meds, then shots you will not feel. Temporary or permanent crown. An hour of not eating and you will be able to eat steak that night.

You are my HERO! Thank you for this!! You made me feel much better.
Two more appointments after Tuesday's root canal -- one to create a mold of the crown, the other to "install" the crown. I'm such a princess when it comes to medical and dental "procedures," I should have a real crown.
I'm sorry to hear about your SO. That sounds like horrible pain! OUCH!!!
ICE CREAM FOR DESSERT (or, heck, for DINNER) FOR EVERYONE!!!!!
PS. My fries are like your fries -- freezer fries. Love 'em. Just 7-8 minutes and they're on the plate.
Yikes! Sorry to hear about all the medical stuff going on. I guess the good news is all the medical stuff going on. Aren't we lucky to have it? I think about what it must have been like only two or three hundred years ago to need a root canal. Modern medicine has come a long way just in my lifetime.
Wish you all speedy healing.
Tonight it's mixed pasta with marinara, Italian sausage, mozzarella and Parmesan, green salads with balsamic dressing.
Later today I'm going to make a dilled tuna pasta salad and some devilled eggs for light snacking.
After a restful vacation I feel a baking urge coming on and haven't forgotten that I was going to test that sour cherry honeycomb cake and leave a review but there's one thing ahead of it in line first.
I am roasting a chicken tonight. I already rubbed it with salt, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and allspice. I am also making roast asparagus and mac and cheese.
After yesterday's 2 hour dental visit, prepping and surgery all is finally over. Now I am on baby food diet for a while. Debsi what is on the menu for Margot today?
I will enjoy only drinks today while the rest of my family can have leftover lentil soup with cilantro chapatis, homemade yogurt, onion, tomato cucumber slices and lassi to drink. For dessert grapefruit.
Have a good weekend everyone
Alm, I hope you are able to eat again soon. I am glad your surgery is over and you are alright. I hope you have some good wine in the house!
magicshark, as usual, your dinner is making me hungry.
