What's For Dinner? ~ 2020 Edition ~ (grilled, shrimp, chinese, bread)

I had an early dinner of stovetop salmon (cooks in less than 10 minutes) and veggies -- tried a new sauce with the salmon, Hannaford's Taste of Inspirations Sesame Teriyaki.



Here's tonight's dinner on my lovely Fiesta plate ...


I like the sauce a lot -- will likely experiment with making my own at some point but Hannaford's Taste of Inspirations line is overall pretty great. I have a bit of the salmon left for my breakfast scramble tomorrow (I always do that when I make salmon -- it tastes FANTASTIC in scrambled eggs/egg whites!) and another full portion for Tuesday's dinner too (tomorrow is leftovers). YUM!

Sirloin Burgers on buns with broccoli in garlic & oil with boiled white potatoes with fresh horseradish.

Chicken, shrimp & sausage jambalaya with salad and dinner rolls. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale to drink. Lemon meringue pie for dessert.

Leftover 1/2 cheeseburger, some fries, and a glass of Sangria.

Dessert: couple scoops of TH chocolate marshmallowice cream.

Concluded my series of road trips in Glen Rose, Texas, at Los Primos. There, I had three crispy beef tacos, plus chips and some salsa.

Tonight I felt like fried fish so I drove to our nearest Long John Silvers. It was a very nice 84 miles round trip.

We had a salad of mixed greens, a bowl of pasta e fagioli, a hunk of whole grain sourdough bread and a glass of merlot.
