Just salad for me tonight, as I had way too many calories at lunchtime (a sandwich and tots at a restaurant ). Time to return to lower-carb food. The salad will have plenty of dark greens, red bell pepper, crimini mushrooms, cherry tomatoes from my garden, broccoli florets an celery. Homemade vinaigrette dressing. I have a Webex online meeting with my pinochle club gals scheduled for 7 p.m., so I'll indulge in a glass of cabernet for dessert while I'm talking with them.

I had an air-fryer chicken thigh with mashed potatoes/gravy and corn (my kitty Annie got some of the chicken and mashed potatoes so she was a happy camper and that makes ME delighted). Can you say "comfort food"?
Forgot to take a picture, sorry!
How do you like your air fryer? I have heard mixed reviews about them. What brand do you have?
Your dinner really does sound like the definition of comfort food.
With our big temp drop recently we decided a hot bowl of soup was in order, so we used some of our Fall veggies in this butternut, beans and greens soup this evening. Served with freshly baked sourdough rye/red wheat and a glass of zinfandel.
Sausage & mushroom pizza with salad. Budweiser Light beer to drink.
