Today was blistering hot, so for dinner we made a large bowl of chilled Greek pasta salad. It included onion, pine nuts, red peppers, kalamata and green olives, pepperoncini, fresh oregano and dill, red pepper flakes, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, garbanzo beans, pasta, and feta cheese. The dressing was olive oil, fresh lemon juice, red wine vinegar, tahini, Dijon mustard, and Greek seasonings. Served with crusty Italian bread and a glass of primitivo wine.

Tonight, I met up with Mom over at Lazy Dog for a cheeseburger (with that bark 'n bite sauce), onion rings, Dr Pepper, and a warm brownie with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Aaaaaaand............................my mother actually wound up ordering that same dessert for herself after she originally said she had to resist....
