You should. They are good, roasted, and mashed.

Please don't judge me.

Mashed potatoes and gravy with buttered peas. That's it.

Judge? I'm overjoyed

One of my fave meals is mashed & gravy with buttered corn. I could live on that alone for weeks.

BTW, my b'day is coming soon. I sincerely think my dinner is going to be mashed w/gravy with thick cut fries stuck into it like harpoons & chips crinkled on top. Of course, with a bottle of Chandon to make it classy. It's my b'day & I'll root veg if I want to.

And happy birthday again. I love mashed potatoes and gravy. I'd probably choose corn, too, but whatever. I've eaten too much blue cheese and too many Cheez Its this week. For three days. For some reason I can't seem to eat enough blue cheese. Weird.

I bought some nice big green peppers yesterday, so I’ll stuff them with pork or beef. Someone here once suggested a sauce of crushed tomatoes and mushroom soup, so maybe I’ll try that. I think I’ll leave out the rice and make tortellini on the side.
