I love Indian food. I especially love all the varieties of vegetable curries and vegetable dishes. I'm not a vegetarian, but do love vegetables and I'm not a big meat eater. I appreciate dishes in which the vegetables are not the second thought.

And spicy, oh yes, I love spicy!

I arrived at my airbnb in Paris around 8 p.m. last November. First time there. Went looking for a vegetarian restaurant in the neighborhood. Most menus were "lamb, lamb, lamb, lamb, chicken". Then I found a nice Indian restaurant with a three-course dinner special, one of which was meatless. And a big-ass glass of wine was €2,50.

I LOVE Indian cuisine! Occasionally I attempt a recipe, and have done okay - but not as good as our local restaurant.

I also love India - traveled there almost 20 years ago. Beautiful country and beautiful people.

Indian cuisine, is the best by far!

And I live not too far from Birmingham, and a relatively large Indian population; and with it some of the finest curry & balti houses in the country!

So much choice: so little time!

Growing up in the deep south, we didn't have any around us.

Fortunately here in Fort Lauderdale we have an area that has it.

What are some of the best, most noted Indian appetizers and entrees to order?

I only have heard of Chicken Masala and Tandoori Chicken. You can get samosas at the Cheesecake Factory.

I like samosas and naan bread. I *want* to like Indian curries, but Caribbean curries are more my taste.

Literally laughed out loud at 'Aromatic' as a descriptor. A blooming rose bush is aromatic, an Indian kitchen can be overpowering if you didn't grow up with that particular smell profile.

The spices they use to flavor the food does make each dish distinct and wonderfully aromatic . I never had Indian food til I got married .It is that time I was introduced to all those Indian spices.
