I wonder if we will start something....any other liver and onion dinners going on out there? Well I just read that NMS won't be joining us....but who knows....now she's eating tofu.....maybe liver is next.

Lacey and Elston- Enjoy your liver and onions.

Kat- You and your DH sound wonderful. Keep on being happy.

Burdell- Good luck with the packing.

Another pretty day in the mountains. More fencing and seeding today. I took out chicken legs to grill for my DH. I'm loving my new grill pan. No more mess on my outdoor grill. Yay. I think I have some leftover chicken breast for my dinner and a big salad.

Enjoy the day.

I would starve before I ate liver. Oh wait, I did when I was a kid. My parents made me sit there and look at that stuff until it was bedtime and then went to bed hungry. Today it's called child abuse. dh loves liver, bacon & onions, like so many of you with lamb, I just can't get past the smell to cook it for him.

It is 72 degrees right now and beautiful. The vegetable garden is starting to look lovely and plush. Planting some herbs today and the rest next week. I am again the supervisor, dh wil be putting the stone up for the fireplace today, the concrete is almost set for the stone. It will be so pretty the stone is going up 8', we have a 16' ceiling in the LR.

Last nights dinner turned out to be Mussels in a rich red wine, garlic/onion tomato sauce, thin Angel hair pasta and crusty French bread. Simple and just plain good.

Today, I am going to make some Panko shrimp, not exactly sure what, probably baked.

I wish everyone a lovely Sunday, I will check back later. kelsie

I love liver and onions with bacon but don't cook it. On rare occasions, may order it out.

My mother used to put ketchup on liver only. She never told me she didn't like it. I guess she thought it was good for us, but later on I guessed that is why she did it.

My Dad never passed it up when he noticed it on a menu.

Liver is one thing the wife and I agree on. I goes good in cat and dog food. A tough cut of beef slow cooked tender is much more to our liking and most likely that is on the menu for tonight. Some more fresh sweet corn and pickled beets will work for me.

I'm grilling pork chops that I'm about to cover in a dry rub made up up equal parts cumin, oregano, ground coffee ...I know it sounds weird...but it's awesome!! topping it with tomatillo salsa..and gonna finish it all with sweet grilled plantains

Welcome Emma! Another NC poster here. I don't think your rub sounds odd at all--my DH does something like that with steaks! It is wonderful!
I see you are also a cat lover---me too!!

elston, my hubby mentioned liver and onions just the other day. I think I'll make that soon, when kids are working. Only DH and I like it.

Tonight I have to use up the chiken breast I have in the fridge.
