I was at a friend's house the other day and she served watermelon with feta cheese. I did a doubletake at the combination but tried it anyway and was amazed at how good it was! The saltiness of the feta makes a really interesting taste combination with the sweetness of the watermelon.

Any other food combinations that look weird "on paper" but actually taste really good?

Red grapes or green? Or doesn't it matter?
