Funny, I was thinking how strange and gross some of these combos are and then I remembered one that my dad would make for breakfast that is delish. I bet every family has one or two that they don't consider strange.

Bacon sandwich on toast with strawberry jelly.

I like scrambled eggs on toast with jam, eaten like a sandwich. That's not too weird though.

What is weird is cooked brown rice covered in Virginia Brand Vadalia Onion salad dressing. Yum! I love to eat that as a snack.

It's not just you!! I love eating frozen peas, especially the little "Baby Peas" (Green Giant brand I think)!

I think the "fresh peas" flavor is much more intense when you eat them frozen, than after they are cooked, even if steamed rather than boiled or nuked.

Hard boiled eggs covered in curry powder, salt and pepper along with a plate of cottage cheese covered in salt, pepper and garlic powder. Four or five serrano peppers on the side with a slice of rye toast.

Chili powder on pineapple has probably been seen by everyone, but the following is one that
my Mom found.

Place canned pear halves cut side down in a rectangular glass baking dish. Add lime gelatin
to just above the level of the pears. Chill.
To serve: cover the top with a layer of Miracle Whip, and coarse grate on a covering
of Colby Cheddar cheese. Cut into squares and serve.
This is a big hit at the potluck.

I tried the watermelon and feta cheese last night....and OMG!!! What a combo, I brought some to work today freaked my co-worker out a little, until they tried it..

I still had to drizzle some lemon juice on the watermelon, which was a nice touch to the Feta.

I think it sounds awesome! A definite summer salad.
