sliced tomatoes with sugar. it tastes like a refreshing fruit in summer.

cold beer and a bowl of hot, crispy seasoned fried chicken.

M&M's mixed with Cashews

Peanut butter and honey sandwiches dipped in Chili (grade school cafeteria always served together)

Slice bananas, cover with miracle whip mixed with a bit of milk and a bit of sugar (or mayo if preferred) and sprinkle with ground peanuts (use one of those old fashioned grinders to get the peanuts soft ground) This is a family requirement at our family gatherings.

While I never tried it, I think perhaps an interesting combo would be a strawberry pie with mozzarella cheese inside, baking to a nice texture.

I remember, as a child, my (German) Grandma, making watermelon & noodles....and Liver dumpling soup. I wish I would have been older, or payed more attention..........

That sounds intriguing. Hold the mayo on mine though.

I recently discovered oatmeall with sliced sweet pickled green tomatoes. Just the right combo of sweet and savory.
