Chicken Byriani, Pilau rice, and Chappatis and if I can be bothered Onion Bhajis. Has anyone ever made their own raiita ? I'm afraid I tend to buy it ready-made .
I make Indian all the time, love it! Raita is actually quite easy, but you have to use greek-style yogurt.
Straining the regular kind, and then even hanging it, it still turns out too thin. I would love to share my recipe if you would like it!
Just finished dinner here in Perth - one of my favourite meals: Barbequed Sirloin Steak. Baked potatoes with butter, sour cream and chives. Roast asparagus. Big glass of a Big Aussie Red - Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet. Nice end to my day!

I would love your recipe ! I tried to make my own Mango Chutney once but it just did not have the right consistency so I gave up... I should really try my hand at Raita .
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

Tonight's going to be broiled pork chops. Sides TBD. I also took out some frozen hamburger for tomorrow's dinner will be meatloaf and scalloped 'taters! Yum!
I'm having crumbed chicken with mashed potato, pumpkin, carrots and broccoli...and certainly looking forward to it too...
So what is "crumbed chicken" if you don't mind my asking?? I have a couple of boneless, skinless chicken breasts thawing right now and haven't decided how to prepare them as of yet. Something different would be nice! I'm always open for suggestions!!
