Finally catching a little break in a crazy work schedule, 14 straight days was enough.

Braised some short ribs yestreday in beer/hoisin sauce/tomato paste. I'm thinking with egg noodles/butter/poppy seeds and sugar snap peas tonight.

And wine, there must be wine.............................................. ..........

Even though it's MOTHER'S Day, I was a good wife and made a nice dinner. Then again, I am afraid to eat anything he cooks, lol. Fried shrimp, coleslaw, cornbread, and mac n cheese.

It's Mother's day but our mother's and kids are out of state.We were going to order in but nothing appetizing.
A little depressing- but thank goodness for phones, cell phones & internet.
Anyway tonight is:
Left over chicken stir fry for my husband
Meatless chili for me
Salad

The kids and grands called and promised they would spoil me when we go visit them in a few weeks, wonder if they'll forget and make me cook Since hubby isn't home until tomorrow, the kiddo and I are doing chicken-veggie noodle soup at her request (homemade)....So tired of smelling her Chef-boy-R-make me sick from the smell-ravioli

Took Mom to an Outback Steakhouse, and had their Bloomin' Onion and Alice Springs Chicken.

Was a little disappointed my dog didn't get me a Mother's Day card....lol.

Italian Sausage pasta sauce does NOT work as a pizza sauce. Too chunky. I guess I'll use the rest with actual pasta.
