Fried eggs, instant mashed potatoes, instant mashed sweet potatotes---and there's pudding in the fridge.

I think the milk's starting to turn, so I figured I better use it up before it does.

Conflicting severe weather reports here in E. NC, so tonight I made a big pot of gumbo with chicken and sausage. Have a great night everyone, be safe.

I'm not sure what I'm going to make, but I have 2 pounds of carnitas thawing in the sink, a package of corn tortillas, and sour cream. Maybe enchiladas, maybe tacos. Whatever it is, it's sure to be delicious!!!

Lentil soup. I had about a cup of lentils and some leftover ham. I started with some onion, garlic, celery and carrots sauted in olive oil. Then I dumped in a can of tomato sauce, some beef broth and water, the lentils and ham, and a little thyme, salt & pepper. After about an hour, I added some chopped fresh Italian parsley and a handful of rigatoni.
It is really good.
