I was pleasantly surprise when my wife came home with deli fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, Hawaiian dinner rolls, and a gallon of green tea. Package deal for $9.99.

Split pea soup. One of my daughter's friends was here who had never eaten it before (have yet to meet anyone in our area of Indiana who has--weird), and she LOVED it. Looks like I'll be making more this weekend for several other friends of hers who want to try it, too.

Because mostly Indiana has been meat & potatoes meals all their lives like a lot of midwestern & southern states. I think that tide is turning but it is slow in my area of Indiana.

Bits and bobs salad last night with mixed leaves, chicken, bacon, olives, tomatoes and anchovies. Toasted some croutons in a pan with spray-on olive oil and all was good.

Curry night tonight!
