I think the biggest thing is seafood, at least the one I love the most here in Florida.

One of the things I really enjoy is Large shrimp, rolled in coconut then deep fried, you dip it in a mango chutney...really good eating.

Down in South Florida the rock Lobsters are popular and of course Cuban food as well, the Cuban food is really good, nice tender meats, black beans, plantaines.

I try to eat alot of white fish which is always easy to find here

Savannah sounds like great creative cuisine. fried oysters- great. last time I had those was over 10 years ago in Boston. Being landlocked you have trout, but excellent seafood is basically hard to find.

Kansas City MO Kansas City Strip Steak/or any steak for that matter,

Plaza III steak soup and Herford House white chocolate bread pudding.

Kansas City style Bar B Que/ with lots of sauce, Bryants, Gates, Smokestack (my favorite), Rosedale to name a few.

Several great Italian Places, left over from the old gangster era. Chicken Spadini (spelling?) a KC original.

Interesting ......... I didn't know what avocado, bean spouts, artichocks or pinto beans were until I moved here from the Mid-West.
