Honestly I never much feel like cooking anymore---been doing it many years now. Probably just need a break but thank goodness my DH pitches in and cooks too or I'd probably quit eating! Ha!
Tonight is ham steaks on the BBQ with red potatoes and tomatoes, cucumbers and of course cut up watermelon. I'm getting a bit tired of the cucumbers and we still have a huge bag to eat with more on the vines--yikes!! Seems tomatoes are not going to produce as many as last year--already getting only a few on the vines...sigh...
I hear ya on the same ole cooking but thankfully we are eating fresh out of our garden right now. My skins on the maters are tough as leather must be going to have a severe winter.
BBQ chicken done in the oven along with baked sweet potatoes. We are headed to opening day of the Indiana state fair tomorrow so pigging out on fair food times overload. Last chance for this year.
Once again the weather did not permit using the BBQ..sigh..so it was up to me to prepare everything in the oven. Oh well...
Tonight we are having the rest of the Alaskin King Crab legs from our freezer---don't want to keep them to long. We'll have baked potatoe with that and all the usual garden goodies!
Homemade B.T.N?? Or a rendition from a local Pho shop? Sounds amazing tho, you gotta pour the fried garlic all over the bun sounds great
Just homemade. Nothing special like some of the restaurants do it. I'm satisfied with it.
