Hubby is in the hospital, high blood pressure. I have been calling his family this evening so my girls cooked. They made little pizzas on english muffins and I made them berry smoothies.

I didn't want to think about food today - is 104F here
but they seduced me with potato salad again. Gosh, I just love that stuff!
So: BBQ chicken, potato salad, steamed okra/corn/squash and garden salad.
Unsweetened peach tea.

Prayers for DH getting well & home quickly.

We have been working outside mostly today with a heat index close to 108º. So the kids talked me into ordering a pizza we had mushrooms, bacon with sausage on one side and the first 2 ingredients and ham on one side.

Sshhhh don't tell them they didn't have to talk me into it very hard.

I went with the pizza again. I did add a few more toppings tonight. The good news is I'm out of crust mix. The bad news is I still have a ton of tomatoes!

Sounds like pizza is popular tonight! We did some a cookie sheet pizza with red pepper alfredo, leftover baked chickie, onions, tomatoes, spinach, black olives, a little shredded cheddar, and some parmesan...I will hear leftovers calling at some point
