I remember using Bosco. I hardly ever have it anymore, but I can only drink Yoo-hoo b/c it is not whole milk, so to me whole milk tastes funny. Can't drink pre-made half-gallons of choc. milk without dilluting it with 75% skim milk to 25% choc. milk. Tastes like drinking a milkshake otherwise.

That was probably why it tasted off! They had the chocolate straws right next to them in the store, never used those. Looked a little weird. New generations of chocolate milk lovers can do those.

Oh yeah, let's not forget powdered Nestle's Quik.

That stuff is great sprinkled on top of vanilla ice cream instead of choc. syrup.

Doesn't Hershey syrup have high fructose corn syrup in it? Maybe that's why it tastes different now...

Yes the first ingr. is High Fructose Corn Syrup! But it makes great chocolate milk.

I remember Bosco, too. Didn't realize they still made it. When I was a kid, many decades ago, I remember that Bosco came with a plastic clown's head on it with a red had and a yellow fluted collar. The syrup came out of the tip of the clown's hat. Does anyone else remember that?
