Greetings,

I am moving to South Florida in January. I will not have a vehicle for at least a year. Out of Fort Lauderdale and Miami, which would be the reccommendation for the easiest to move around within?
(Side note I also would like to dewell around a large West Indian population)

Peace and Blessings

As you wont have a vehicle for at least one year, I recommend you Miami, preferently Miami Beach, that is the only municipality in Miami-dade county with the best mass transportation service, with several bus lines like L, S, R, T, K, M, J, etc.
You can check with www.miami-dade.gov and see the bus schedule for each line in Miami-Dade county and preferently for Miami Beach.

Living in Fort Lauderdale is much harder for people who don't have a vehicle or simply do not drive at all.
Good luck and have a pleasant time in South Florida.

Miami beach, or anywhere in Miami close to a metrorail station south of government center station.
