I am purchasing a home in Broward County.
My real estate agent sent me a net sheet to sign which lists the expenses I should expect to incur. On that sheet there is a $295 service fee to my real estate agent's company (broker). I feel that fee is unreasonable in light of the commission they will be receiving. Did this ever happen to anyone else in this forum?
Also, who pays for the deed recording fees, title examination, title insurance, etc. . . . the buyer or seller?

I have never heard of an agency fee beyond the commission. Unless you are causing them to incur some unusual out of pocket expense, I'd call them on it. If you've got the chutzpah to be willing to start over with another agent, cross it off, initial the cross-off, sign it and send it back in. If you are a qualified buyer, in this market one would think they wouldn't risk the commission over a $295 dispute.
