I remembered that Avon Skin-So-Soft works up north for misquitos, ordered some last week ant it works somewhat with no-see-ums. Has anyone tried citronella plants around their yards? Just wondering if they really work.

The SSS has never worked for me. Only repellant with Deet or Permanone(no skin contact allowed with this product).

I attract skeeters like a magnet attracts steel(off to watch a Walter Egan video now).

Default No seeums

now that I've lived on the island for 2 months, I can give a bit of a report on the no seeums. Seems to me, about an hour past sunup, and then about an hour before sunset is the deadliest time for them.
Little buggers will drive you into the house for sure !
