At the moment, nothing.

What's slowing everything down on the plans to renovate the place is the current owner of the property. It's to a point where some city leaders and even other developers are demanding the ownership to be taken away.

I truly think that those owners know what they are doing. They bought it cheap long ago, with no plans of ever actually doing anything. (other than giving false hope) with the intention of selling it for a lot of money once it's worth even more (especially with all of the inner city development). Truly frustrating.

Yes that's going to look nice from I 30 coming from the eastside of town. It also fills one of those major gaps in the skyline. Are there still plans to build that slender hotel. I think the hotel was like 20 stories. I believe it was suppose be built in that particular part of downtown.
