Does anyone have info on gang activity near the Parkview or Poynters Crossing subdivisions? They are off Hulen and part of the Crowley ISD. Also, any info in general on the surrounding area would be helpful. Thinking of relocating.

I dont think you will have alot of problems both are newer neighborhood. Both are also Fox & Jacobs homes. Typically people that buy the F&J product come from apartments and just want allot of space.

if you read posts from people who live in the Crowley ISD, many of them are complaining about the turnover in quality of the schools which they directly attribute to gang activity and people moving out of FTW into Crowley into cheaper tract housing (a la Fox and Jacobs)...many of them say that their neighborhoods are showing signs of seediness and they are afraid that they cannot recoup home value if they try to sell into the soft market...
do a search of FTW forum for Crowley ISD and see the threads...

About 5 years? F & J are a very hard home to resell, people dont think of that when they see the space and what they think they are getting. Dont get me wrong i sold a few when i couldnt talk the buyers out of buying them. I also lost a few sale because of it. I would live there and i wouldnt buy one. I love Dr Horton homes. i have owned 3 of them and have bever had a problem with resale or anything. They do cost more but most cases are in better areas.
