mmm... but don't you love the smell of that sagebrush after a rain? nothing like it.

We have an empty lot beside us and behind us so I can still get that sagebrush smell after it rains, while still having a yard I can grow things in, and for my kids to run around on. 😃

Voles

Grrrr -- their holes are everywhere this year in my veggie garden.
I've tried traps with peanut butter (caught a few), solar vibrating sticks, juicy fruit gum, and encouraging resident black snake.
No luck, they are breeding like crazy and wrecking major havoc in garden.
