Oh man, hate when that happens. Sorry to hear this. Curious if that 1 plant grows back and blossoms still. Still plenty of time for you down there. You thinking about putting a net over the plants?
It's in a 5 gallon pot, and usually on the deck railing. I put it on the deck floor because a thunderstorm was rolling through. The soil was very wet and the whole thing so heavy that I couldn't get it back up on the railing.
It'll live and produce. This has happened before, so I'm sure of that. It's just disappointing.
I came close to being able to share a photo of my carefully planted sweet potato bed. The neighborhood deer had other ideas. At least the peaches growing on each side of sweet potatoes were out of their reach.
