It never ceases to amaze me where genealogy help can come from. I have been using FamilySearch for several years as a basic genealogy resource, but it took a lady from Belgium to make me aware of the many Links available on that Web Site. I responded to her request for assistance on People Search to find her American family, and we have had a good exchange and she has helped me as much as I have helped her. She is a super researcher and has helped me with my Europe connections. I guess my point is; Dig deeply into FamilySearch and you will be amazed at what is available.
I hope some have benefited from the various mentions of the site on here. They also have a link back to their original, if the newer version is not what you want. I like that.
O.K., I'll use my search as an example. On the Home Page you'll see "Brouse by Location". There I clicked "Europe" then "Wales" (and under that you will find "dates", "Collections",then you chose. In the right column you will find "Specific Historical Records Collections", and I clicked "Wales, Marriages 1541-1900". Did that answer your question? That is just one of several Links you will find there. Enjoy.
Thanks. I had checked familysearch a number of times for certain ancestors, and every time I go there, the info I pull up is different. Not so much different in content, but info that hadn't been there before is now there, and info I found and printed form them in the past is gone.
Thanks for your post: it reminded me to check again, and today I found photo images of the marriage records of two ancestors in the early 1800s. These were NEVER there before! Guess I should go back every couple of months.

Yes, Thanks. I have used those too, they were really helpful.
yes, and they are constantly updating. They recently posted baptismal records for a lot of parishes in chicago archdiocese. Of which all my relatives attended those parishes. It is always being updatted.
